MEET DR. KING

At the age of 15 Dr. King started working at his grandfather’s dental lab located in Chicago, Illinois. After high school, he received his degree in dental lab technology, specializing in crowns and bridges. At the age of 21, he bought his grandfather’s family owned dental lab that had originally prompted his love for the dental world. Dr. King happily operated the lab for the next 15 years. Owning and operating this specialty dental lab gave Dr. King an added advantage in the dental industry with all the hands-on experience he obtained.

His continued search for knowledge gave him the ambition to further his education in the dental field. After being married and having two children, he decided to enroll and was accepted into the University of Illinois at Chicago Dental School.

After graduating from dental school, Dr. King and his family made their way to Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he worked at a few metro Milwaukee dental offices over the next eight years.

Dr. King also served as a captain in the Air National Guard, where he participated in humanitarian missions that were life-changing experiences for him because he was able to treat and better the lives of so many individuals that did not have adequate dental care available to them.

Dr. King's drive and determination then led him to the decision that it was time to own his own dental clinic. In May 2008, Dr. King made his goal a reality when he purchased his very own dental clinic and King Family Dentistry was born.

After his departure from the Air National Guard, Dr. King wanted to continue contributing to the well-being of our military service members, so he became a provider for the LHI program. This program allows him to actively treat service members from all branches of the military, at King Family Dentistry. Dr. King also uses his success to help enrich the community by choosing several local charities each year to sponsor.

Dr. King's most recent educational endeavors are Invisalign, pinhole surgery, and the placement of implants. He was fascinated with the skill and technological advancements in the implant process which led him to enroll in the Misch International Implant Institute. Dr. King is now utilizing his schooling by placing implants at his facility, King Family Dentistry.
